Your mission
- Ensuring the smooth operation of network and firewall components in the Lab14 Group's group-wide network infrastructure
- Design, implementation, monitoring and further development of the IT infrastructure
- Responsible for 3rd and 2nd level support in a high-tech environment
- Responsibility for the design, implementation and monitoring of IT security concepts
- Analysis and continuous optimisation of internal network and IT security components (firewall, endpoint security, data security, etc.)
- Collaboration with team colleagues and end users to isolate and resolve IT operational disruptions
- Documentation of our networks and firewalls
- Resolution of errors and problems within the scope of 2nd level support
- Management of service providers
Your profile
- Completed degree (computer science, electrical engineering) or training in the IT field with additional certificates and at least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position in a demanding IT environment
- Thanks to your professional experience, you have a good knowledge of network administration, especially in the areas of WAN, VLAN, WLAN, switching, routing and firewall administration
- Ideally, you have experience with Cisco Catalyst and Meraki as well as Fortigate
- You have an analytical, structured yet pragmatic approach, can oversee complex systems and quickly familiarise yourself with them.
- You have an understanding of IT processes and IT service-related requirements.
- You are highly self-motivated, have a positive attitude, are communicative, a team player, flexible and able to work under pressure.
- You are fluent in spoken and written German and English.
