Your mission
- You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB for domestic companies
- Processing, controlling and monitoring the relevant G/L accounts are part of your daily business
- You will post current bank transactions, fixed assets and monitor the accounts payable and receivable accounts
- You will be responsible for the dunning process, including receivables management, and prepare advance VAT returns and summarised reports
- You will oversee invoice approval using our electronic workflow
- You will support the continuous development and digitalisation of accounting
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with an additional qualification as an accountant (m/f/diverse) or a degree in finance/business administration
- You have initial relevant professional experience in balance sheet accounting and very good knowledge of accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Ideally, you have knowledge of commercial and tax law
- You are confident in working with ERP systems
- Ideally, you have a good command of written and spoken English
- You are characterised by analytical thinking, initiative and the ability to work independently and carefully
- Strong teamwork and communication skills round off your profile
